Commercial and governmental insurance carriers have very specific requirements for prescriptions and medical documentation when reimbursing for patient’s home medical equipment (HME). The standards & requirements are not set by ABC Health Care. However, ABC is mandated by the insurance carriers to meet these standards & requirements. As a result, ABC has created Equipment Access Information packets to help educate our patients & their prescribing medical clinician on the unique requirements for the most common products.
